Chronicler – Elijah
Our scene opened with our party divided. Some of our players were scattered after last game’s antics, including destroying a water cistern and flooding the Troll leader’s meeting room. Elijah explored ahead in an area filled with ancient technology and mysterious rooms. After some time, the party caught up with Elijah by tracking his prints in the dust, which had not been disturbed in some time.
There were many different types of rooms in the complex that our heroes were exploring, but eventually, those rooms turned hostile. As our adventurers pressed forward, these traps became more deadly, but sharp eyes prevailed, and a secret passage was obtained. After searching a bit more, the party found itself tumbling into a large room that resembled a green house. Sunlight streamed into the room via mirrors, and many ancient plants, long since escaping the bounds of their confinement, decorated the room.
Perhaps through fate, or perhaps due to a loud fall, another group surprised our party. Among this other group included a monk, seemed very familiar to our own religiously inclined follower of Koshana. These individuals, members of the Koshinary religion, attacked the group to test the strength of our resolve, and resolve was not in short supply.
Our adventuring party proceeded to murder the other group, causing a hasty retreat from the Koshanari. As we concluded our session, the group had discovered a bit of material in the center of the greenhouse structure and had joined hands to awaken it. As the material began to fill our adventurer’s minds of past deeds, soldiers from the Indirium Empire descended upon our group.
